Zones of Regulation

At Holtsmere End Infant and Nursery School, we successfully embed the Zones of Regulation approach across daily routines, helping children to recognise, understand, and manage their emotions. Through consistent language, visual supports, and staff modelling, pupils develop self-awareness and strategies to regulate their feelings, leading to improved behaviour, resilience, and readiness to learn.
