Enrichment
Enrichment at Holtsmere End Infant and Nursery School
At Holtsmere End Infant and Nursery School, enrichment is at the heart of our curriculum. We believe that children learn best through memorable experiences that inspire curiosity, build confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Our Enrichment Framework has been carefully designed to reflect our school values, curriculum intent and commitment to developing the whole child. Through a wide range of visits, visitors, themed days, outdoor learning, creative arts, sporting opportunities and community experiences, we provide every child with the chance to broaden their horizons and discover new interests.
Enrichment also supports our wider priorities by promoting excellent attendance, positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and personal development. Every experience is planned to help children become resilient, respectful, independent and confident learners who are ready for the next stage of their education.
Our enrichment opportunities continue to grow and evolve, guaranteeing that every child at Holtsmere End leaves us with wonderful memories, increased aspirations and the knowledge and skills to achieve their very best.
Happy Learners. Aiming High.
Each child will take part in enrichment activities during their time with us and reflect at the end of each year how many they have achieved.
They will complete all of them by the time they leave us at the end of Year 2.

Each child will take part in age -appropriate, meaningful, real-life financial experiences during their time with us.
They will begin to understand how money works and how to make sensible choices now and in the future.
