School Houses at Holtsmere

At Holtsmere End Infant and Nursery School, every child belongs to a House Team. Our house system helps us build a sense of community, encourage teamwork, and celebrate positive behaviour across the school.

How does it work?

Children are placed into one of four houses:

Blue, Green, Red or Yellow.

Each house has an eco-focus which they work on together throughout the year.

The houses meet together each half term.

Each child has a t-shirt in their house colour which they wear for PE and when they take part in external sports competitions.

Our Houses

Blue House:

Blue House's learning value is team work and they have been working together to make food for the birds.

Green House:

Green House's learning value is curiosity and they have been working together to ensure that we are recycling as much as we can in school.

Red House:

Red House's learning value is resilience and they have been working together to pick up litter and ensure that our grounds are clean and tidy.

 Yellow House:

Yellow House's learning value is perseverance and they have been working together to plant flowers for the bees and to make our grounds look lovely.
