Gratitude Challenge

7 April 2020 (by admin)

It is so lovely to see all of the photographs of the children with their rainbows and completing various activities at home. Thank you for sending them through, please continue to do so.

We are very aware that as much as we are missing the children that the children will be missing each other. Therefore we are today launching:

The Gratitude challenge!!

Research has proven that we are happier if we have positive relationships and that people who regularly express their thanks and gratitude are happier, more optimistic and healthier too.

We all need happiness and optimism right now!

We are asking for your child to draw a picture of their friend and to label it with their first name only. Can they then think of three things that their friend does which makes them happy?

They can either label the picture with these 3 words or depending on their age, write sentences describing why they are grateful for their friendship.

If you send a photo of your child, with their picture to me I will include it in the weekly newsletter and in the Gallery section of the website.  It will be a lovely way of the children connecting with their friends whilst off school.

I look forward to receiving the children’s pictures.

Take care and stay safe and well.
